WWE Retaped and Edited Spots On The Christmas Edition of SmackDown

With WWE pre-taping SmackDown for the first time in a long time, it seems they've gone immediately back to their old habits with the show.

Much like in the past, this past Friday's episode of SmackDown was taped on a Tuesday (due to the fact that it was scheduled to air on Christmas).

According to a report from Fightful Select, a spot in the Jey Uso vs. Daniel Bryan match was retaped as to have Daniel Bryan sell Uso's attack more. The spot was refilmed without the audience actually witnessing it live, as WWE presented the ThunderDome crowd with a commercial break to keep them occupied.

In addition to this, the report also states that Sasha Banks accidentally dropped her championship belt during her entrance and it was edited out of the final broadcast.
