SmackDown Quick Results (01/10/2020)

Below are the results and a summary for tonight's episode of SmackDown:

*Opening Segment*

Miz TV kicks tonight’s episode of SmackDown off. Miz chalks last week’s actions up to “Having a bad day”. He apologizes for what he did to Kofi Kingston. Miz brings out John Morrison. John discusses being disappointed with the WWE Universe for turning their back on the Miz. Miz TV is then interrupted by The New Day.

*Singles Match*

Miz defeats Kofi Kingston via pinfall after a distraction from John Morrison.

*Firefly Fun House*

Bray Wyatt lets Daniel Bryan know that he is “In a heap of trouble” come the Royal Rumble.

*In-Ring Segment*

Elias sings a song he wrote entitled “Road to the Rumble”. Elias announces his entry into the Royal Rumble.

*Singles Match*

Mandy Rose picks up the win via pinfall over Alexa Bliss after Bliss gets distracted by Heavy Machinery coming to the ring.

*Singles Match*

Lacey Evans Vs Sasha Banks was scheduled, but Bayley informs Evans that Banks is in Los Angeles finishing up her rap album. Evans then challenges Bayley for her SD Women’s Championship. Bayley declines, so Evans heads backstage to confront Bayley face to face.

*Backstage Segment*

Daniel Bryan addresses his match at the Rumble with The Fiend. His interview is interrupted by Ramblin’ Rabbit, where he tells Bryan that he is his biggest fan. Wyatt then reaches in and subdues Ramblin’ Rabbit from speaking any further.

*Singles Match*

Braun Strowman defeats Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall

*Backstage Segment*

Daniel Bryan enters his dressing room to find a present sitting on a stool. Once opened, he finds Ramblin’ Rabbit “dead” with a giant gash to his head.

*In-ring Segment*

Roman Reigns comes to the ring and addresses the Usos coming to his aid last week on SmackDown. He said that he didn’t need friends to help him, he needed family. He makes the bold prediction that he will win the Royal Rumble and head to WrestleMania to headline for the 5^th time. The Usos then join Reigns in the ring and after a brief promo, they are interrupted by King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler. Corbin announces his entry into the Rumble and accepts Reigns’ challenge to a singles match just prior to their participation in the Rumble.

*Main Event*

Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin defeat the Usos via DQ after Roman Reigns delivers a spear to Corbin. Robert Roode then makes his return and attacks Reigns to assist Corbin and Ziggler.
