In regardings to Dio Maddin still being off television since he was attacked on Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw, there is not much more to it.Â
Maddin has been kept off to sell the injury, although it is highly unusual as WWE doesn't keep talent off screen for long these days. WWE reportedly just want to really emphasize the beating Maddin took from "The Beast", according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Paul Heyman is reportedly a fan of his work and he'll be back on television soon.Â
In addition to this, Meltzer reports there was "high praise" for Samoa Joe, who filled on commentary this past Monday. They felt his work with Jerry Lawler was strong. WWE officials are also high on Lawler for the support he has given Vic Joseph.
Joe will be returning to in-ring action once his thumb heals.
