AEW Dynamite once again beat WWE NXT in the viewership for Wednesday's episode for the sixth consecutive week.
Dynamite on TNT drew 822,000 viewers, while NXT on USA Network scored 813,000 viewers. The viewership gap is however closing and WWE will no doubt be pleased that their use of The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) paid off.
WWE viewers had been anticipating for days a main roster invasion of NXT ahead of the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view. This likely helped numbers going into the show.
AEW Dynamite viewers got the final build for Saturday's Full Gear pay-per-view with many praising the episode for a great promo from Cody Rhodes.
It will be interesting to see where things go from here, no doubt WWE will soon beat Dynamite for the first and then the real test to gain viewers will begin.
