Update On How WWE Managed To Spoil Their Own WWE Draft Results

Prior to last Friday's WWE SmackDown on FOX the company managed to spoil the draft results before they were announced on the live broadcast, which upset many of those watching.

WWE had released a pool page on their official website prior to the draft event which listed names in the order they were revealed on-air. WWE quickly rearranged in alphabetical order but thus it was too late.

Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that the website team was given the list and instruction to put it up in alphabetical order but that somehow didn't happen and that's ultimaetly why they were spoiled.

In addition, WWE seemed to go against one of its announced draft rules which noted that that tag teams would count as one draft pick, meaning that when Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross were announced as separate draft picks FOX wasted a draft pick.

WWE Now takes you through every pick of Night 1 of the 2019 WWE Draft.
