WWE Hell In A Cell: Main Event Ends In Disqualification For Seth Rollins, Fans In Attendance Voice Extreme Anger Regarding Finish

At tonight’s WWE Hell in a Cell event, the main event that featured Seth Rollins defending the WWE Universal Championship against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Hell in a Cell Match was ended in a disqualification loss for Rollins after he covered Wyatt’s head with a ladder, placed a chair between the ladder, covered both with a metal toolbox, then hit everything with a sledgehammer.

The disqualification was called despite the fact that under Hell in a Cell Match rules, there are supposed to be no disqualifications.

Once the match officially ended, the fans in attendance began to very loudly boo as a slew of referees and emergency personnel came to the ring to hold back Rollins and attend to Wyatt. They also began to chant “bullsh*t” and in addition, there were also very audible “AEW” chants heard at multiple points, as the fans were clearly and extremely angry regarding what they had just witnessed.

Once a spot was done involving Wyatt quickly getting off the mat and attacking Rollins again was done, the fans then began chanting “restart the match!”

Below are some reactions to the finish via Twitter:
