Video: Nikki Bella Talks to TMZ About Brain Cyst, Possibility of Ever Wrestling Again

As was previously reported, former two-time WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella recently revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she has been forced to retire from in-ring action due to a cyst on her brain, as well as herniated discs in her neck.

Nikki recently spoke to TMZ about these injuries, as well as the possibility of ever being cleared to wrestle again:

“It’s super scary, of course. It’s just something you’re never gonna hear, but I’m so grateful and grateful for my health. I’m grateful that it’s benign. It’s something that you have to watch out for – for the rest of your life because you never know how that can change. I’m definitely grateful because I know people go through it worse. It was definitely really scary. It also sucks at the same time because it just keeps me out of the ring.”

“Go to your doctors, get checked up, get your blood taken. It could be scary but you need to know what’s wrong with you. Trust your gut. If you don’t feel right, go get it handled.”

When asked if she'll ever be able to return to the ring, Nikki gave the following answer:

“I mean, we’ll see what the man upstairs has in store for me.”
