WWE's FOX Deal Will Include Wrestling Other Than SmackDown Network Confirms

FOX Sports will host wrestling shows other than SmackDown, when the deal between the Network and WWE comes into effect this October.

According to Charlie Collier, a FOX Entertainment CEO, other WWE shows will be a part of the deal, though stressed that Monday Night RAW would not move from it's spot on the USA Network.

"The Fox sports networks, FS1, and others, will have some other wrestling–not live SmackDown, not Raw, but other ties to the WWE world," Collier told reporters at a Television Critics Association Press Tour.

This move has been rumored for a while, with WWE's Michelle Wilson and Geroge Barrios alluding to having multiple WWE shows on FOX Sports during a conference call last June.

"There have been discussions around additional promotional programming that would highlight other activities in WWE. So those are certainly very positive discussions that are taking place — both on FS1 and Fox Broadcast," Wilson said at the time.

The WWE closed a five-year deal with FOX to air SmackDown on their network, with the blue brand moving back to Friday nights for their first FOX show on October 19, this year.
