WWE reportedly spent a whopping $5 million on the WrestleMania 33 set which was constructed to resemble a theme park at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
This amount eclipses any construction cost WWE have paid in the past when it comes to their production for their biggest show of the year.
WWE’s Senior Vice-President of Event Technical Operations, Duncan Leslie, told the Orlando Sentinel at the time that...
"Between 400 to 500 people contribute to this, whether it’s [information technology] guys, loaders, crane operators, riggers, lighting folks and everything in between. There will be [more than] 100 semi-trucks bringing in gear all week long."
