As previously reported, it does indeed appear as though A.J. Styles will be done with TNA Impact Wrestling after this year unless things change. The two sides just can't come to terms on a deal that would work for both of them from a financial standpoint.
This has caused a lot of buzz backstage in TNA because the general feeling is that if they won't pay A.J. Styles what he wants then it probably means that a lot of other performers will also have to take a pay cut if they want to stay in TNA when their deals expire over the next few months.
It was also previously reported that Styles is already taking independent bookings through his agent Bill Behrens. He is reportedly asking for at least $3,000 per appearance. TNA allegedly sent lawyers to some promoters that A.J. was negotiating with to make sure that they don't infringe on anything that TNA currently owns the rights to.
