BREAKING NEWS: Bob Backlund To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame

WWE announced during Monday's WWE Raw that Bob Backlund, who held the WWE Championship from Feb. 20th, 1978 to Dec. 26th, 1983 is to be inducted in 2013 WWE Hall of Fame on April 6 at Madison Square Garden.

Backlund headlined more MSG main events than anyone else who isn't in the Hall Of Fame other than Bruno Sammartino.

Backlund reportedly turned down the HOF several times in the past.
