Triple H Takes Part In Conference Call To Promote NXT Takeover: The End

Triple H has taken part in a conference call with members of the media to promote Wednesday's WWE NXT TakeOver: The End event, which will air live on the WWE Network. Below are highlights of that call:

--He feels that due to the main roster brand extension, the roster of NXT will change as well, though he isn't worried about NXT having an overall lack of talent. Furthermore, he is excited about the change and feels that it provides new talent with opportunities to be successful.

--He is working on the contracts of both Eric Young and Bobby Roode and looks forward to working with them in the future. He told everyone to stay tuned.

--In regards to the name of the NXT TakeOver special itself, as well as the future of the shows, he says "it has a lot of meaning, and I think you'll see that tomorrow."

--There will be a total of 180 NXT events throughout 2016, with the possibility of a Canadian tour in the future.

--He provided no timeline on the return of Hideo Itami, but said he hopes he is able to return soon.

--Confirmation was given that the Steel Cage Match between Samoa Joe and Finn Balor will, in fact, be the end of their feud.

--The WWE Cruiserweight Classic was also addressed. Triple H said that the upcoming tournament that will air on the WWE Network is being presented as more of a sport than past WWE tournaments. He also stated that there will be a lot of surprises, as well as something that we've never seen before.
